Watcher, Soldier of the Fallen Army
Nearly a thousand years has passed since the warforged of the ancient kingdom of Aarlon were built in hopes of defeating the lord of the sands; Jariff Windwalker. Thousands of soldiers of stone and steel marched forth toward the citadel palace of Roj’Maruk. Even outnumbered, the warforged remained stalwart. Jariff’s army was razed and the citadel was under siege. With all of his remaining power, Jariff created a tempest of swirling sand, entombing him in his own kingdom, and burying the lush city Aarlon. Some say the soldiers of Aarlon still sleep under the sand constantly battling Jariff. Watcher was once a foot-soldier of one such army. Watcher was buried in the sand for hundreds of years, pondering his existence. 20 years ago, about at the time of the caging of the leviathan, watcher was visited by a celestial being who imbued upon him a mark, and taught him the ways of the cleric.
Watcher met his end crushed beneath an undead abomination, waist-deep in water, so that his friends might live.
